About Me

Brad Roae was first elected to the state House of Representatives from the 6th Legislative District in Northwestern PA in the Nov. 7, 2006, General Election. 

Roae serves on the House Finance, Human Services, Insurance and State Government committees.

From August 1992 to November 2006, Roae was a commercial underwriter with Erie Insurance.

He graduated from Maplewood High School (Guys Mills) in 1985 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Gannon University in 1990.

Roae is a volunteer firefighter and EMT with the
East Mead Volunteer Fire Department and currently serves as assistant scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 231. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

He is a member of Saint Agatha’s Roman Catholic Church in

East Mead Township with his wife, Dana, and three small children.
